To ensure smooth, seamless progress and take full advantage of your island’s resources, there are 8 Animal Crossing New Horizons tips and tricks you need to do every day in the game.
1: HIT ALL THE STONES
The day necessarily begins with the harvesting of resources and especially minerals, the rarest resources on the island. So you have only one thing to do: take your shovel and hit the different stones of the island to collect iron nuggets, clay and why not even gold that you can resell in the store for 8,000 bells or use it to make gold objects. Minerals that will be extremely useful to you to make better quality tools. Be careful not to totally destroy the stone by having eaten your character before.
2: SHAKE ALL THE TREES
We continue with the resources, this time with the trees. Every day, go and cut wood with your stone axe. This will allow you to harvest different woods, always very useful in crafting, but also to collect all your fruits. If you knock a little longer on your trees, you may also find bells or some insects like spiders. Beware, however, wasp nests can sometimes fall out of them.
3: DIG UP ALL THE FOSSILS
We end this great tour of resources with the fossils, buried under the ground and that we locate on the ground with a small mark. There are not many of them so don’t forget to do it well every day! You will then have to go to the museum to have them appraised and then deposit them or sell them for a good price at the store if you are short of bells.
4: LOOK FOR THE LUMINOUS POINTS
The second activity to be done on the ground: look for the points of light coming out of the earth. By digging this hole with your shovel, you will find bags of bells. Replanting them there will allow you to grow a bell tree and triple your investment!
5: GO TO NOOK STOP
The tour of daily activities continues with an imposed passage to the Nook Stop, a machine created by the irreplaceable Tom NooK. Not only will you earn Nook Miles every day, very useful in your progress, but you will also be able to buy various items in his store, including Kéké’s music that will allow you to vary the sound pleasures.
6: GO TO THE STORE
We take the opportunity to visit the store and see what it has to offer. Note that the items sold vary every day. It would therefore be a shame to miss a beautiful sofa or a superb coffee table by skipping this step.
7: TALK TO ALL THE VILLAGERS
As a good and self-respecting island delegate, you must then go and talk to all the people on your island. Not only will this allow you to win another round of Miles Nook on a daily basis, but they will sometimes have little surprises for you by giving you small gifts or a crafting recipe.
8: GO AND VISIT OTHER ISLANDS
Finally, now that you’ve done a good tour of your island, head for new horizons, and we’re not just saying that because the game is called Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you have enough Miles Nook, we recommend that you travel to other islands to get new resources and discover things that may not be there at home. For example, you may find an island with many bell-filled rocks or one where the local fauna is exclusively tarantulas. You never know what you will find there and you are not safe from a good surprise!
